Creegh village is on the West Clare Peninsula on the West Coast of Ireland, just 9 miles north of the Kilrush Maritime and Heritage Town, at the mouth of the Shannon Estuary.

The cottage is approximately 1 hours drive from Shannon Airport, which is served by various low cost airlines including Ryanair (www.ryanair.com), Easyjet (www.easyjet.com) and Aer Lingus (www.aerlingus.ie).

Ferry services from the UK are available from Liverpool to Dublin (www.poirishsea.com), Holyhead to Dublin (www.irishferries.com) and Swansea to Cork (www.swanseacorkferries.com).

There are various car hire companies.  Hertz booking through the Ryan Air site is particularly good value.  Local companies include Dan Dooley (www.dan-dooley.ie).
