The cottage, which sleeps 6, is situated in the small village of Creegh (or Cree), on the West Clare Peninsula. Part of the Shannon Region, Co Clare is one of Ireland's premier tourism areas on the unspoilt West Coast. Just five miles from the sea, the cottage is ideally placed for the beautiful coast line, with walking, surfing, swimming and fishing, as well as nearby golf courses and horse riding. Dolphin watching is highly recommended, with boats from the nearby marina at Kilrush (9 miles).
The centre of the village is less than a five minute walk, just over the Creegh River bridge, with a shop, post office, restaurant and two pubs with traditional music on Thursday nights.
